TER UMA QUEDA POR ALGUÉM

COMO DIRIA EM INGLÊS?

ELE TEM "UMA QUEDA" POR ELA!

QUERENDO DIZER QUE ELE GOSTA DELA,

SENTE-SE ATRAÍDO, MAS NÃO SABE EXPLICAR

O PORQUÊ????

TEM UMA EXPRESSÃO SUPER LEGAL...

TO HAVE A "BIG" SOFT SPOT FOR SOMEONE

VEJA A DEFINIÇÃO:

to feel that you like someone very much, often without knowing why
sentir que você gosta muito de alguém, frequentemente sem saber o porquê

VEJA O EXEMPLO:

She's always had a big soft spot for Mark.
Ela sempre se sentiu atraída (teve uma queda) por Mark.

I've got a real soft spot for Susan - I just find something about her very appealing.
Eu tenho uma verdadeira "queda" pela Susan - Tem algo nela que me atrai!!!

That's it!

  1. What about to have a crush on someone is more informal, or it has the same equivalence that soft spot?
    thanks!

  2. THE TWO EXPRESSIONS ARE SIMILAR:
TAKE A LOOK AT THE DEFINITION:

(informal)a strong but (**temporary) feeling of liking someone. e.g. She has a crush on one of her teachers at school.
