THE
EFFICIENCY OF PORTUGUESE UNDERTAKER
An old lady
has just become a widow and went to the funeral parlor to see how her husband
was being prepared for the burial. The moment she sees the body, she begins to
cry a lot.
The undertaker
watching her crying begins to comfort her, but she says she is not crying over
the loss of her husband but because of the suit he is wearing. She explains
that her husband is dressed in a black suit and the desire of the deceased man had
always been to be buried in a blue one.
The man
explains that they traditionally dress deceased men in black suits, but he
would do his best to meet the wishes of the deceased.
Half an hour
later, the old lady returns to the funeral home to sees her husband and she starts
crying again, but this time for joy. She sees her husband dressed in the most beautiful
blue suit she has ever seen in her life.
The undertaker
approaches her and asks:
- Is
everything okay?
- Yes, yes!
Wonderful! But where did you get a so beautiful suit so quickly?
- Look ... after you left, another dead man
was brought in to be prepared and he was your husband's size. He was wearing a
blue suit. This widow was also sad because her husband always wanted to be
buried in a black suit. *
The old lady
then smiles at the man and he continues his explanation:
That was very easy ... I just swapped the heads!
